PROFILE
The mission is to develop and support programs and
scholarships for the benefit of Henry Abbott Technical High School
and its students and alumni.
Including Henry Abbott Hall of Fame and providing
"Need" for our "Local Veterans".
To be fiscally responsible for the generation, management and
accounting of all funds required to meet the costs of operating The
Wolverine Foundation, Inc., on a non-profit basis, exclusively for
charitable, educational, and/or scientific purposes as provided
under Section 501 (C) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. No
substantial part of the activities of the Corporation shall include
the promotion of propaganda, attempting to influence legislation, '
or intervening in any political campaign on behalf of any candidate
for public office. The Corporation shall not carry on any other
activities not permitted to be carried on by an organization exempt
from federal income tax under Section 501 (C) (3) of the Internal
Revenue Code, or any corresponding section of any future federal tax
code. Further, the Corporation shall not carry on any other
activities not permitted to be carried on by an organization,
contributions to which are deductible under Section 170 (C) (2) of
the IRS Code. |
ANNUAL FUNDRAISER
The Wolverine Foundation conducts one fundraiser
each year which consists of golf tournament.
DONATIONS
The Wolverine Foundation in the past plus years
has provided over $100,000 in scholarships to Henry Abbott Tech
High School graduating students.
